Teacher's Day 2019 at eVidyaloka

In the context of teacher-student relationship, whenever "gratitude" is expressed, its always from the students towards their teachers. The table seems to have turned in eVidyaloka, where the teachers never fall short of expressing their gratitute to the students, who end up teaching them about life. Teacher Day, 2019, brought into the fore several such testimonies from the volunteer teachers. Each one talks about gratitude that these teachers and mentors have towards their students.

5 years it is !!

When I joined eVidyaloka in 2015, I only meant to get a job that would allow me a stipulated time for my family. Within a month, it started engulfing me into a feeling of belongingness, responsibility and a lot of joy. Since then there have been times, when I took time off from my family to be with eVidyaloka and what it stands for- children and their well being. It's my 5th year in eVidyaloka. Now I realize what I set out to do while still a student, and lost way in between, have finally found a path in the form of eVidyaloka. Hence, as a tribute to my 5 years long stint in eVidyaloka, I must put together the paths threaded and journeys made here, to be able to relive this phase of my life whenever I would want to look back. Leadership Curriculum Program - A Platform to Dream, Aspire and become a Leader

Leadership quality is a combination of an inherent as well a learnt skill . One needs to nurture the skill to be able to display it efficiently. In education world "Leadership" as a concept is inherent in every aspect. Be it in the form of class monitors, school heads or student union leaders in universities and colleges. However, until the children understand the meaning of being a leader, the purpose of having such positions does not fulfil its purpose. A decade ago- when eVidyaloka thought of a decade later.

Its a 10 for eVidyaloka! When the year 2020 impelled the world into adapting the online medium of communication, evidyaloka felt totally at home with the online medium. It was on this day, the 28th of January, 2011, that the idea of an electronic medium of imparting education to the largest population of India, which resides in rural areas, found its shape as eVidyaloka. eVidyaloka stands for that opportunity to one and all, who wants to learn but falls short of the means to do so.
